What a great night at Burton Town Hall on Saturday 28th April. There were over 200 people in by 9pm and by 10pm the place was packed. Local boy Roger Fowler made his Town Hall debut and got the dancefloor busy from early on. Steve Brown and Pete Taylor played a good mix of classics and rareties and the place was really rocking. Good to see lot's of the Burton Soul crowd who haven't been for a while returning. This was for me one of the best night's since we took over a few year's back.

We are getting rave reviews on the various soul forums but we couldn't do it without the fantastic support we get from you. Thank you Mark, Jason and Liz.

Although we have now stopped holding events at Coors Guildhall due to substantial room hire rate increases, we are committed to Burton Town Hall as a venue and have confirmed bookings to the end of 2014. The nights that were scheduled to be held at Coors Guildhall will now be held at The Heritage Ballroom in Derby. This is a great venue with a 350 capacity, fantastic dancefloor and facilities, discounted hotel rooms and good bar prices. Added to that the management are really enthusiastic about the soul nights which is always a big help. So with 2 top quality venues we are looking forward to a fantastic 2012 with some great soul nights. We thank you all for the support you have given us.
